I have many frog requests. My Instagram followers regularly ask me to make frogs version of famous characters. It goes from celebrities to game iconic characters, mangas, animes and so on.

Two days ago, I had lunch with a friend of mine who seems to really like my frogs. She suggested me to make a frog version of リラックマ (pronounced “rirakuma”). It’s a Japanese character created by San-X, a company known here for creating and marketing cute characters for stationery products. Yesterday I decided to do it and I must admit, it took me quite a lot of time. Though it seemed not that difficult at first, I ended up struggling a lot to make the “rirakuma” part recognizable. We can easily see it during the time-lapse video, where I endlessly keep redoing different part as I’m not satisfied. Anyway. Here it is!
